Urgent Network Maintenance

We will be performing an urgent network maintenance in our Singapore cloud network on Sunday night, 23 February 2014, between 11pm and 5am (the next day) Singapore time. We will be adding a new module into our core router urgently to cater for bandwidth capacity growth.

Short and intermittent network downtime is expected during the period.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Cloud Storage Maintenance

We will be performing maintenance on our cloud storage cluster on Sunday night, 16 February 2014, between 11pm and 5am (the next day) Singapore time. We will be optimising the storage cluster to distribute the storage load evenly among all the clusters.

We expect that there will be no downtime during this period, unless if there’s any further complications/issues. However, you might expect slower I/O access to the storage cluster during the period.

High Latency Issue: DDOS Attack

We detected high latency and intermittent network connectivity issues to our Singapore cloud infrastructure’s network, starting from around 03:00hrs earlier this morning (8 February 2014) due to a DDOS attack to one of our customers’ servelet. We blocked the attack on our core router to mitigate the impact, and network connectivity was fully restored after our upstream providers blocked the attack.
